Was going to write an NBA post today, but I feel I'll have more to say after the Raptors play the Boston Celtics for two straight games.
Instead you are left with this...a preview of the new "sneakers" designed by Kanye West for his Louis Vuitton collection which drops in June. No details available on what the price tag will be, but my guess is that not too many people will be wearing them. As for the actual shoes themselves - a progressive idea that matches the classic white shoe that hip hop heads favor and the growing trend of boat/deck shoes. The deck shoe was starting to gain momentum last summer and look for everyone to be wearing them in the summer of 2009. Mr. West has also added a couple of nice touches on the heel and the fringe laces. Classy...

Snack of the Day
Since yesterday's NFL games were at 4 and 7, you probably didn't have time for snacks, instead you had dinner on the couch in front of the TV. With today's Raptors contest and the two NFL games at 1 and 4, it is time to indulge.
Sunflower Seeds
Generally this isn't a very good indoor snack, but all you need is an empty dish or water bottle to place the shells in. If you are feeling lazy (as it is a Sunday), just eat the sunflower seed whole. Contrary to popular belief, this will not make a plant grow in your stomach, the only concern is choking. Another word of caution - stay away from the flavoured seeds, BBQ, all-dressed are BAD, stick to the salted.
i agree... you probably won't see too many people wearing those kicks. BLT should make a louis vuitton shoe... THAT i'd wear.
ReplyDeleteas for the sunflower seeds, i'm actually a fan of the flavoured kinds. and i'd NEVER eat a shelled seed whole... too many little pieces would get lodged in your esophagus, no?
