Eastern Conference Preview - Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Just incase you don't know what is going on in the basketball world, we are down to the final four. The defending champs are out, the MVP hasn't lost a game in the playoffs and the team that everyone thought would win the title was just taken to a game 7.

Here is a breakdown of the conference finals by position;

Eastern Conference - Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Center: Two big men in the middle for this series - Dwight Howard of the Magic and Zydrunas Ilgauskas for the Cavs. The advantage is pretty obvious here, Howard gets the nod as he is the defensive player of the year. Howard does have to learn to play like every game matters instead of every other. Advantage - Magic

Forward: Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu for the Magic will square off against LeBron James and Anderson Varejo. The Magic could start two all-stars at forward and you would still give the edge to the Cavs because of their one all-star/mvp/best player in the world, LBJ. Lewis and Turkoglu are both deadly outside shooters and will have to be on their game for the Magic to have a chance to win a game. Neither are great defenders so they will rely on the bench (Mickael Pietrus) to slow down James. Advantage - Cavaliers

Guard: Rafer Alston and Anthony Johnson for the Magic and Delonte West and Mo Williams for the Cavs. Alston has changed his course this year after being traded to the Magic and has played well. Mo Williams knows what he has to do for the Cavs to be successful - don't turn the ball over and pass to LeBron James whenever possible. Anthony Johnson is the veteran leadership that the Magic will need to have a shot, but Courtney Lee the rookie from Western Kentucky is the player who will provide the offense and the energy to swing games. Advantage - Magic

Coaching: Stan Van Gundy for the Magic and Mike Brown for the Cavs. Mike Brown is the coach of the year, but it is more for the job that LeBron did on the league than he did coaching. As for SVG, he has taken alot of flack in the media and his own players for this coaching style, especially in the playoffs. However he did come through with the winning strategy for a game 7 road victory. Advantage - Magic

Overall: The Magic have the advantage in coaching, guard and at center, the problem is they don't have the advantage at forward - where it means the most. LeBron James is a major X factor and that is why the Cavaliers will win in 5 games.
